01

Construction stage inspections.

NSW and Victoria have different certification and inspection arrangements. The required inspections depend on the approval, building work and applicable requirements. Our team confirms the services included in your engagement and explains how to request the relevant inspections.

Plan inspections into the construction program. Work needs to be ready and accessible, with required stages checked before they are concealed or progressed beyond. If something changes on site, contact the project team before proceeding.

  • Confirm the approval and required inspection stages
  • Coordinate access and ensure the work is ready
  • Address inspection findings and required documentation

02

Pool and spa barrier inspections.

Pool and spa barriers have specific safety requirements. We provide pool barrier inspection services within our registered scope and discuss the assessment or documentation relevant to your property.

Tell us whether the pool is existing or proposed, where it is located and what prompted the inspection. Requirements for a new pool approval can differ from those for an existing barrier, and the processes differ between NSW and Victoria.

03

A useful inspection starts with good information.

When contacting us, include the project address, permit or approval reference, inspection stage, site contact and any relevant plans or previous inspection advice. Our team can then identify the project and confirm the arrangements.

Certification inspections are carried out for their defined regulatory purpose. If you need a separate assessment of workmanship or a particular defect, tell us so the requested scope can be discussed clearly.

Your questions, answered.

Can you inspect a project where another surveyor or certifier is appointed?

Contact us with the approval details and the service you need. Inspection arrangements must be consistent with the applicable appointment and regulatory requirements; an inspection request alone does not change who is appointed.

What if an inspection identifies an issue?

We communicate the findings and the relevant next steps. Further information, rectification or another inspection may be needed, depending on the issue and the project.
